The soft ‘flump’ of a soccer ball being kicked across the grassy field. Proud parents cheering in the background. Glowing beams of sunset sparkling the reds and oranges on the fall trees. Excited laughter from a brother and sister playing with their puppy. A couple of perfectly timed jokes from two kiddos playing around with their Mom and Dad. Ault Park did not hold back in all her fall glory for Erin and Nik’s family session! My natural light photographer heart was doing a happy dance inside (and maybe a little dancing happened at the park too).

I love being able to move through sessions and quickly see just how much your kiddos have grown over the years! As a primarily couple and family photographer, we typically get to hang out twice, maybe once a year to capture your family’s growth. It is such a treat to see all the growth in one fell swoop!

Over the years, we have done this family’s session a few times at Ault Park! We did a legacy session with Nik’s parents. And a little before that, we had another family session (this was pre-blogging RMP!). We got a classic shot of Henry and Kate during that session. Erin still has this as her phone screen saver! So, of course, we had to recreate the class ‘Henry + Kate’ pose! Hope you love this as much as I do!

Erin + Nik, thank you for braving the global pandemic to capture these family memories! Frenchie is a sweet heart, and I can’t wait to gather virtually for Thanksgiving! Erin, I expect you to have a Dirty Shirley to ‘cheers’ with!
