Fall moments slowly turning into holiday joy. Celebrations of love. Hand holding. Twirling. Lots of giggle kissing. Let’s talk about this rad and love-filled engagement session with Emily + Logan in their Mt. Adams neighborhood!
These two really brought out my creative side! As you all know, I love being able to shoot couples when I have the chance. There is just something I truly cherish about being able to capture the love between two people. Capturing a neighborhood they have started their lives together in. A moment in time slowed down to capture love and joy.
I love being able to carve out little moments unique to your love story during your sessions. With Logan and Emily sharing their Mt. Adams home for a couple of years together, I loved being able to showcase the place you became a family. These streets will always hold a special place in your love story.
I loved being able to celebrate the love you two have for each other. You two are so comfortable with one another. It is completely effortless and natural. Logan’s jokes had Emily giggling throughout our entire session. Logan’s passion for Emily is so clear when you watch these walking hand in hand. He is so present with Emily. It was a complete honor to see.
Emily’s soul has so much joy. Overflowing into her love for Logan. Every time these two were locking eyes and getting close, Emily’s face filled with light and happiness. The love that these two share is something special. I feel so privileged to have been able to capture these moments of your engagement!
The number of reflections and mirrors we focused on in this session really seem to pop in this post. You two are such beautiful reflections each other’s love. Even in moments when you may not see the picture fully, your love is clear and reflected in each other.
As these two changed into their second outfit for the session, they seriously dressed to impress. We started by walking around their Mt. Adams neighborhood. Strolling by the shops getting ready for the holiday season. Twirling in alleyways straight out of Charleston. Emily and Logan ordered some fancy and delicious drinks to celebrate their engagement once we arrived at the Blind Lemon. The entire courtyard gave us such a New Orleans vibe!
Sometimes, there is just something magical about an out of focus moment.
Emily and Logan, thank you for allowing me to celebrate your Mt. Adams engagement with you two! I loved hanging out with you guys and being able to capture these precious and timeless giggles and joy. I can’t wait to see you guys again soon!
