The last yellow leaves of fall. One day after a super hero-filled Halloween. Two sisters in matching dresses. Some serious winds of change. The Marchionda family met up with me at Glenwood Gardens on Sunday for their family session. Last year, Beth and Phil were just about to announce their pregnancy with their second little one. Scarlett was joined by Emilia just a few short months ago.

And the two of these girlies are definitely going to be two peas in a pod.

Scarlett was beaming when she brought her ‘Baby Em’ over to meet me. I could just watch her pride in her new sis. Not only was Scarlett a giggling QUEEN, she was such a champ with the windy day. Every few moments, Dad would wrap her up in a fuzzy warm jacket and give him the biggest hug. Scarlett’s heart is such a joy to watch! I think her giggles made ME laugh more on this session that we would have thought!

Beth, I love being able to see your growing family! Having grown up together (seems like a lifetime ago!), it is extra special as your photographer to watch you being a Mom! I never would have pictured us taking photos in gale-force winds with your TWO daughters back when we were out smarting Nancy Drew games! And Phil, I always love watching you love on your ‘Judy’s!’ Your three ladies are so lucky to have such an awesome Dad and husband.

Beth and Phil, THANK YOU! You four were absolute champs and I am so blessed to have clients who trust me with these beautiful family moments. Even when the tornadic winds from the Wizard of Oz makes an appearance. And like you two said, I can’t wait to see you guys again in the summer!
