One proud Dad, playing hide and seek. One creative Momma, bringing a vision to life. One little cutie all dressed in white. One hundred giggles. One surprisingly cool morning at Rowe Arboretum. This celebratory session with Lila was definitely ‘one in a melon!’ When Morgan and Joey dressed Lila up in her first outfit, I could not stop smiling! She has grown so much since her mommy and me session, just 6 months ago! Not only is this cutie pie turning one, she is also one of the happiest little sweethearts I know! She did not stop smiling during the entire session!

Whenever I get to hang out with Morgan, Joey, and Lila, we always have a blast. Morgan, you are so amazing at having a vision for these sessions and I feel honored that you trust me to bring them to life. This theme. This headband. The big melons (…Joey’s favorite)! Her outfits! That CAKE! They all came together so beautifully! I am one lucky photographer to have such creative clients and friends!

This little adventurer is going places! She is a walking, hand clapping, dancing queen! As soon as Joey played ‘Baby Shark,’ Lila got down with her bad self and started shaking her booty (and you guys are welcome, because now I know you have baby shark playing in your head on repeat)!

Morgan + Joey, Lila, thank you for hanging out with me Saturday morning! Morgan, I love being able to see your creativity; it always inspires me! Joey, you know I love your jokes! So I hope you guys had as much fun as Lila and I! Based on her bomb posing skills (hand on that hip, and looking over that shoulder!), I think we really bonded over this strawberry cake. I can’t wait to see what is next for you three!
