Laura + Arthur | Loveland

Scents of cinnamon streusel met me at the door. The warm mid morning sun was just breaking over the trees across the back yard. Arthur telling me about his favorite stuffed animals. This Loveland family session that Laura crafted was the perfect last session of 2021 for me!

For those of you who do not know, I am getting married in just a few short weeks and Jon and I just had our own engagement photos. I was actually inspired by Laura’s creativity and vision for this family session when planning our engagement session! We went to the Lytle Park Hotel downtime, sipped bourbon, and looked pretty for our photographer. It felt like an intimate date was captured on camera for us! When Laura came to me with her idea for this family session, I immediately had flash backs to our seriously *cool* ice cream date Momma and Me session in Milford. The sweet moments of slurping ice cream and brain freezes was one of my favorite sessions to date! This session was another one for the books!

Laura’s vision to capture a ‘lazy morning at grandma and grandpa’s’ was perfect. Making muffins in the kitchen she spent the last part of her childhood in, right along side her own baby (not so little anymore, Arthur is so grown up)! This is the stuff. Remembering the little moments that fill our lives. Walking through the good times. Hard times. Exciting ne- love-filled times. Family times. Batter-on-the-nose times. Hugs and smiles. Joy and memories. I feel so honored to be able to be a small part of your story captured on camera. Here’s to you, Laura, you creative Momma you!
