Beautiful wedding photos framed and decorating the wall. A celebration of those wedding day memories, in their new home. A legacy Caitlin + Andrew have chosen and are continuing to chose each and every day. These two have a lot of exciting things happening in their lives right now! They recently celebrated their one year wedding anniversary AND they are celebrating buying their first home together! I loved the vibe that these two were wanting to capture with their lifestyle anniversary session!

It is always exciting for me to capture anniversary sessions and milestone events. Life moves so quickly that we forget to reflect on the big and little moments. Legacy photos like these have the ability to transport you back to that exact moment in your life. They allow you to remember those big exciting feelings. What it was like to turn that key of your very first home. What it was like to hold your wife’s hands in the home you started to build together. What it was like spending that first summer planting and growing a garden in your front yard. All the hard work leading you and your partner to this place. This place that will be the beginning of the next chapter of your lives together.

So, once Caitlin and I became friends on IG, I happened upon a photo from their engagement session that she posted again recently. She mentioned in the comment that it was her favorite from their session. I knew we just had to re-enact it! Look at that sweet dining-room kiss!!
