Baby gurgles. Sleepy smiles. The roaring of dinosaurs. The vrooming of fire trucks. All of these sounds found there way onto the beautiful newborn session with the Bailey family at their stunning home in Ft. Thomas!

Tara, Mark, and big brother Warren welcomed their new daughter, Quinn to the family just a few short weeks ago. I had the honor of photographing their first family session! We started off this session with the exciting yet risk move of sibling holding sibling. And Warren did great! We were even able to capture some really sweet brotherly love when Warren started to get really interested in Quinn’s tiny fingers!

While the morning of the Bailey session started off a bit gloomy, Tara + Mark’s home couldn’t have been more bright, beautiful, and full of natural light. It was the perfect backdrop to express their joy of bringing Quinn into their family.

As the RMP family continues to grow, I always get tickled pink when I am able to capture your family throughout the years. I started blogging all of my sessions in late 2017, and now I take a peak at your previous blog posts as I write about your current session! As I was reading through your session from the fall, I started remembering how Warren was chasing after the geese down at George Rogers Clark Park! He was so excited to watch those birdies flying down by the Ohio river. And for this session, Warren was all about lawnmowers and his fire trucks! It is so cool for me to be able to watch your littles grow up as the seasons change! It is a special gift for me that I never anticipated when I started RMP!

I have reflected back on the past few months of quarantine and sheltering in place. And while I have always been a huge cheerleader for investing in family photos, I realized that I myself do not print and showcase nearly enough of those photos I am capturing! In looking at my wall of my loved ones, I am seeing some empty frames that I cannot wait to fill up! So to all of my clients out there, please print those photos and frame them! Look at them everyday. Let us all get back to seeing the blessings that we have been given. A new daughter. A healthy son. A loving husband.
