Soft setting sun. Sunlight sparkling between the trees. A far off plane high in the sky catches one little boys attention. Two little eyes look right up to the clouds. One little finger points to the sky. His legs starting running so he can see the plane around the bend of trees. At that moment, a photographer jumps out from behind a rose bush and plays peek-a-boo with the sweetest little boy around. Dad ‘trips’ over the gravel pathway and Cameron lets out a giggle. Momma gives him a kiss on his cheek, and he laughs. A peaceful Sunday evening spent at Rowe Arboretum was the perfect spot for this family session with Dina, JC, and Cameron!

Dina is the cousin of another one of favorite clients, Marianne. Dina has such a big heart and I immediately felt like I have known her for years. Also, totally amazing, she speaks Russian! She had done an amazing job in getting her family prepped and ready for this session; Cameron even had some suspenders! Not only did they show up looking like a million bucks, they were true to themselves. I loved when Dina said they felt so comfortable with what they were wearing, that the session just felt like a normal evening at the park for them! I love being able to capture your families exactly how you normally are! Because, those are the photos that you will want to frame on your walls and show your kids and grandkids for years to come!

You guys just know I had to snag Dina + JC for a few ‘just us two’ photos!

Dina + JC, thank you both for your Sunday evening! I had such a good time playing peek-a-boo with Cameron; he is such a fun kiddo!! And thank you for trusting me that we would get him to warm up to the silly photographer lady (guys he gave me so many high fives by the end of the session!!)! You are going to look back on the session and laugh at how funny Dad was (he just KEPT tripping over stuff!). JC, you might just be a photographer in training. Anything for the shot!
