A soft pink romper covered with tulle. A flower head band. A nursery fit for a CEO *wink*. Singing teddy bears. Lila’s sweet smiles and baby cuddles. All filling up a warm, Joanna-Gaines-inspired home that Morgan + Joey have made for their family. Lila turned 6 months old this month, so we celebrated by having a fun Mommy and me session with her and Morgan!

We started the session off with a spotlight on the birthday girl. She smiled her way through like a champ! Then we had some fun jumping on Mommy and Daddy’s bed for a little bit!

We wrapped up the session in Lila’s backyard, to show off Mom and Lila’s matching beanies!! But really, how freaking cute are these two ladies!?

 

I will never get over how lucky I feel when I am able to shoot such legacy sessions! I first met Morgan + Joey during their maternity session, when they were pregnant with Lila! Their session was such a dream because, not ONLY did they work.it. with their outfit choices, I just freaking love shooting couples at such a special time in their lives. The moment before two becomes three! I then had the honor again to shoot them during my fall mini sessions in November, and I was able to meet Lila for the first time! I cannot believe how big she already is, Morgan + Joey! She is also such a sweet heart, I didn’t want to stop hanging out with you two!

Morgan, thanks for spending the afternoon with me. Always trusting me to get the shots, even when I ask you to sit in mud or stand next to your house (boring white wall looks fanTASTic)!! Enjoy your sweet daughter, and I can’t wait to see you all again once she turns one!
