Her name is Lila Grace. She is due in a little over 3 weeks. And she already has some of the best new parents I have met! French Park was beautiful as always. Sunset in the background. Stunning light. And a golden retriever who stole the show. Morgan + Joey (plus their adorable puppy Charlie) met up with me in Amberly Village for their maternity session. Not only did they have one stunning outfit, but Morgan coordinated TWO outfits for her and Joey. I am talking, Disney-princess-worthy dresses. This is the magic that happens when clients follow the Portrait Session Style Guide!! My photographer heart nearly burst when I saw them!

Another client of mine referred these two to me for their maternity session; the new dad-to-be is her brother! Client referrals are so special to me, especially when it is family. When I welcome them to the RMP family, it feels like I get to be a part of their family too!

Morgan + Joey, thank you so much for asking me to be a part of this special season your lives! Maternity sessions always have such a memorable place in my heart. It is such a unique time in a couple’s life. Twosome becomes threesome. Some of my favorite moments from your session (I mean beyond learning that Joey wears a welding mask everyday because that is literally the coolest) were the quiet moments between you two. When you two were just focusing on Lila, and Joey said ‘I feel her kicking!’ And when I asked you both to just close your eyes and think about meeting your baby girl in just a few short weeks. Joey’s face had the sweetest, most genuine new dad smile if I have ever seen one. And in Joey’s words, you two new parents just ‘pop’ right off of their photos. Get it!
