Annie + Josh Announcement | New Richmond

Gravel crunches beneath our feet. Two familiar puppies joyfully splash around in the river nearby. Shaking off droplets of water as they race back towards the house. The now calm water leisurely embraces the New Richmond shore. Josh embraces Annie. He holds her so close. He helps her across the shore with a strong hand leading the way. Annie looks up at Josh with love and respect in her eyes. Josh cracks a joke and Annie’s eyes light up and she cannot help but giggle. It was an extremely special session with Annie + Josh. Hands were held. Laughter was shared. And exciting news is joyfully announced.

Annie and I have known each other for quite awhile now. We may have started off as coworkers, but we are now good friends! Around the same time that I began RMP, Annie was also pursuing a business of her own! She was my very first, non-family, paying client! I remember when we met up for her branding session back in 2017, it was the first time that I truly thought that I could maybe make RMP a real business. I will always be grateful to Annie for that! And most recently, Annie has expanded her business talents and designed my new logo (the perfect little RMP that you see in the top left corner of your screen right now)! That’s right. Annie did that. Annie’s fantastic.

This is only the second time I have actually hung out with Josh, but I feel like I know him so well because Annie always talks about him! I feel like I know him well enough to call him ‘Joshie.’ On accident. To his face. During this session. Because I am a goober. Thanks for letting me call you Joshie, Josh(ie). Also, you deserve an extra special thank you because you rocked this session! I always appreciate (and your ladies do to, husbands and boyfriends out there) the willingness to trust the crazy photographer to ask you to do all sorts of ‘candid’ things. Like put your nose on your wife’s temple. Or lightly kiss her hands, while standing in the branches of a little tree. You know, the usual stuff.
